Cory Tetford last week (after the Burlington show with Alan Doyle and Kendel Carson) played at the Fat Cat in St. John’s, Newfoundland. Alan Doyle and several other St. John’s musicians and celebrities attended and played including Kendel Carson. By all the social media reports everybody had a great time.
I always find researching our Newfoundland favourite fellas music experiences at home on social media particularly interesting. Compared to concerts held throughout the rest of Canada and the United States there is generally few pictures and almost no videos. This says a lot to me about Newfoundlanders, their love of their own music, how they engage with social media and how they often like to keep their good times with their family, friends and community private and on most occassion within the community. That is their choice of course.
There were only a couple photos from the Cory Tetford concert at the Fat Cat last week. They were shared mostly by the Newfoundlanders who were there. I just wanted to keep a copy here for my own interest. No copyright infringement intended.
