There were a couple of highlights from this concert. The first was Alan Doyle giving a young girl in the audience a birthday shout out and hug. The girl was then invited up on stage and was given a hug or high five from the Beautiful, Beautiful Band members Cory Tetford, Todd Lumley, Kris MacFarlane, Shehab Illyas and Kendel Carson. Kris MacFarlane gave the girl some drum sticks and Cory Tetford sang happy birthday. What a thrill for this girl and her family.
The second happy birthday shout out was to a little who was five and his name was Luke. Alan went on to sing fan favourite 'Lukey's Boat'. This was all very kind and sweet and I am sure the young girl and boy and their families will remember this birthday for some time to come. (Credit where credit is due.
